A Turkish Law Office Built for International Clients
Turak Law Office is an independent Turkish law office, founded in İstanbul in 2019 by Attorney Abdulsamed Burak Turak. It advises international investors, foreign-owned businesses and private clients whose matters are governed by Turkish law: investment and citizenship, real estate, corporate and commercial affairs, banking, immigration and tax.
Most clients of the office formed their legal expectations in other jurisdictions. The practice is structured for that starting point. Matters are conducted under Turkish law and explained in terms a client trained in another tradition, and that client’s own advisers, can examine and act on.
Clients work directly with the founding attorney. Where a matter allows it, files are managed under Power of Attorney before Turkish banks, land registries and government offices, so that the work proceeds while the client is abroad.

Abdulsamed Burak Turak is an Istanbul-based attorney and founder of Turak Law Office, advising international investors and foreign-owned businesses on Turkish investment, citizenship, real estate, corporate and cross-border matters.
His practice has been established since 2019, with a particular focus on the legal representation of foreign nationals investing in Türkiye. His work sits at the intersection of Turkish law, international investment structures and the practical requirements of cross-border transactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Uludağ University Faculty of Law and completed his legal traineeship under the Istanbul Bar Association. His early professional experience was developed within established Istanbul law firms, where he worked across Turkish civil, commercial and real estate matters.
His international legal training includes academic work at the University of Cologne, with a focus on American legal terminology, tort law and comparative legal systems. This experience developed a strong foundation for advising clients whose legal and commercial frameworks are influenced by common-law jurisdictions.
International Investment Practice
Mr. Turak’s specialization in international investment matters developed through his work as in-house legal counsel for a foreign-capital real estate company, where he managed investment transactions for Chinese nationals acquiring assets in Türkiye.
This experience provided direct exposure to the legal and operational complexities inherent in cross-border investment — including foreign documentation, currency compliance, title transfer, banking procedures and regulatory requirements.
Following the establishment of Turak Law Office, his practice expanded to serve an increasingly international client base. The firm has represented investors and families from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and other international markets in Turkish citizenship, real estate and investment-related matters.
Legal Innovation & Technology
Mr. Turak also holds an LL.M. in Legal Innovation and Technology from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where his studies focused on legal analytics, emerging legal technologies, electronic discovery and legal project management.
This specialization informs the firm’s approach to modern legal practice: combining traditional attorney-led representation with structured legal processes, technology-supported case management and transparent communication.
